Visit here for updates important to our kids, in reviewing their weekly lessons As we kicked off iGod this Sunday, we studied the aspect called "iSin". We went over the fact that everybody sins, even after we have accepted Christ. The emphasis was not only on having a repentant heart for wrong-doing, but also understanding that if we are a new creation in Christ, there is no condemnation for past wrongs.
Your child was sent home with a list of this week's "Lyrics". Review them together daily and urge scripture memorization.
The scriptures for this week are: Romans 3:23, Romans 8:1, Romans 6:23, Matthew 6:24, and Joshua 24:15. See you next week! |

Upcoming Lesson Information That Can Be Helpful To Your Family
These can provoke great discussion with the kids in the car or at the pool during rest time, prompting you children's ability to assimilate truth into their lives, and put you in the spiritual "driver's seat". Questions you can ask prior to that week's lesson, and discussion after, helps a child hold the context of the lesson, and examples can be drawn from their lives at the moment, to reinforce these important scriptural concepts. Give it a try! |
